Sunday Mornings at 11am
As our guest at Faith Ridgeland, we are more concerned with meeting your real life needs than how you are dressed. Feel free to dress casually and comfortably, just as you would any other time. We are a diverse group of people and our clothing reflects that diversity.
We strive to create a friendly, welcoming environment that helps people connect with God and with one another. We won’t make you wear a visitor badge, stand up, or stand out in any way. We want you to feel free to check us out without being singled out.
Our musical worship is best described as a blend of contemporary and traditional styles. You will hear a variety of contemporary songs and hymns with various musical instruments and vocalists. However, the main “instrument” of our musical worship is the voice of our congregation singing out together. We invite you to sing along. Don’t worry if you don’t know all the words, they will be projected on a screen to help you.
Our typical Sunday Morning Worship Service begins at 11 am, usually lasts about an hour, and includes the following:
Worship – This includes a mix of both contemporary music and hymns where individuals are encouraged to worship in whatever way they feel most comfortable and led by the Spirit. Check out our Creative Arts Ministry page here.
Ministry Focus – This is a time to learn about some of the ways in which we are serving our neighbors and how you can get involved.
Offering – As a visitor, we simply encourage you to fill out a visitor’s card and put it in the basket as it goes by. Members and regular attendees are invited to worship God by giving their offerings at this time.
Sermon – A Bible-based message that is engaging, relevant, and applicable to everyday life.
Reflection and Response Time – This is a time to pray and reflect on what God is telling you. This is also a time to commit to taking that next step in your Christian life as the Lord leads you.
